The best part of the beginning of the year is, arguably, all the free stuff. Between Caltopia, Calapalooza and various other student events, a dedicated collector of free goodies could very well end up with dozens of bags filled with T-shirts, water bottles and other miscellaneous things he or she will probably throw away later. But of all the free things in the world, the best of them is definitely food. To save you the trouble, we’ve compiled a list of some events at which you can get free food during the first few weeks of school. After all, why spend those shiny new fall meal points if you don’t have to?
