West Berkeley residents lose power Tuesday morning

As of 9:35 a.m. Tuesday, 149 people in West Berkeley were without power, according to PG&E.

At approximately 8:40 a.m., the power outage had affected 694 people, according to Berkeleyside. At 9:35 the cause of the outage was still unknown.

Earlier in the morning, the National Weather Service for San Francisco Bay Area issued a flood advisory for Alameda County and neighboring counties. The alert predicts possible flooding on roadways and cited reports of accidents Tuesday morning caused by wet roads.
