A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Thursday night at the intersection of Ashby Avenue and Deakin Street.
Police received a report of a pedestrian being struck around 7:45 p.m., according to Berkeley Police Department spokesperson Officer Jennifer Coats. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries.
The driver remained at the scene of the collision and spoke to police, Coats said in an email. As of Saturday, Coats had no other details.
The incident followed another collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle the day before. On Wednesday, a 63-year-old Hayward resident was transported to a hospital with serious injuries after being struck at the intersection of San Pablo Avenue and Allston Way.
