    1. You should live in Unit 1! One of the closest residence halls to campus on Southside, Unit 1 is a collection of six residence hall buildings that have mostly doubles and triples, with a majority of coed floors, although some are single-sex, so you can get whatever you want from it. Because it is located conveniently near Durant Food Court — commonly known as Asian Ghetto — fraternities and Crossroads, you will never get bored here. Always bustling with friends, this is the perfect place for you social butterflies out there.
    2. Clark KerrClark Kerr is the campus for you! This on-campus housing is located a little further from campus than the other buildings are, but the smaller residence hall area means that residents become very close, and the rooms are the biggest. Home to most athletes, it is complete with its own softball field, swimming pool and spacious areas. In this quiet, serene location, you will never cease to have a great, relaxing time lounging around, socializing or exercising.
    3. Unit 3 is where you should be! It is located right next to the RSF — the Recreational Sports Facility, UC Berkeley’s gym — so your view of the water polo players will always be complete. You’re right next to campus and Telegraph Avenue and are the closest to Downtown Berkeley, where the BART station is. If you ever want frozen yogurt, Asian food or pizza, everything is just a moment away — not to mention Cafe 3, the expansive dining hall conveniently located downstairs.
    4. foothill_ahartYou’ve got Foothill and Stern! Foothill is an isolated, quiet and beautiful residence hall unit that is especially close to the engineering buildings. With great food — arguably the best dining commons on campus — and an amazing view, Foothill is the perfect place to get your study on, enjoy the beautiful view of UC Berkeley’s campus and live in a cabin-like area. Stern is the all-girls residence hall right next to it that shares Foothill’s dining hall.
    5. You’ve found your calling: Unit 2! Just a bit further south than Unit 1, Unit 2 is also in a central location, housing doubles, triples and mini-suites. Unit 2 is still close to campus, food, Greek life and bus stops to take you anywhere in the Bay Area with your magical bus sticker. With people always nearby and relaxation only a short walk away, Unit 2 is your future home.
