According to a recently published post, UC Berkeley tops the list of colleges with the most stressed-out students. Here, students experience a challenging and competitive atmosphere. Berkeley changes us as we try to overcome the stress present in our everyday life. We’ve noticed that you can tell a lot about a person by how they handle stressful situations. You handle stress like a hippie. You keep it zen and tend not to over-stress about college life. Sometimes, though, you can be too pacifistic and need to take things more seriously.
You handle stress like a hipster. You are well-adjusted and enjoy a challenge as well as the learning process. You keep up to date on your assignments and like to spend time organizing your schedule.
You handle stress like an ambitious Haas major. You try to not stress out, but there are certain things you are obsessed with. You’re probably considering applying to Haas or an equally competitive graduate program and try to challenge yourself as much as possible. Sometimes you can overdo it and let stress take over. When that happens, get some more rest or pick up a hobby to distract you.
You, my friend, are a stress ball. You tend to let the stress get to you more often than not, but that’s because you tend to take on more than you can chew. Often you feel overprepared or like you could have done more. Remember that it’s OK to take a break every now and again and try to focus on the positive.
