After more than two years without a hub for student life, the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Union and Eshleman Hall are finally opening their doors to students. If the idea of a campus pub hasn’t already captured your attention, Lower Sproul has more to offer by way of restaurants, student offices, the Cal Student Store and much more.
In the coming weeks and months, the ASUC Senate moves into its new offices, and many student groups will take up residence on the third floor of Eshleman. At the same time, a slew of other organizations will make the student center their home, and an area that was once surrounded by fences and swarming with construction workers will buzz instead with students. Even after the newness of the complex wears off, Lower Sproul will always be Bear territory.
