Female student reports assault on Sproul Plaza

A female student was a victim of a sexual battery on Sproul Plaza around 11 a.m. Thursday, according to a UCPD crime alert.

A UCPD police officer was sent to the location of the crime to investigate and apprehend the suspect, but was unable to find him.

The suspect is described to be a black male in his 30’s with a dark complexion and medium build. He is said to have a scruffy goatee, and was wearing a green jacket and black pants.
