Sexual assault reportedly occurs at UC Berkeley fraternity house Friday

A sexual assault took place Friday at a UC Berkeley fraternity house, according to a UCPD crime alert.

The assault occurred between midnight and 12:45 a.m. in a room at the fraternity house, the alert said. There are currently no details on the suspect.

The crime was reported to UCPD by Berkeley Police Department and a campus security authority.

BPD is currently investigating the crime. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact BPD Special Victims Unit at 510-981-5735.
