We’re back on campus after a week of spring break. Rather than moping about the break that was and is no more, we’re committing ourselves to enjoying the last few months of the semester back here in Berkeley. Luckily for us, the weather should be pretty beautiful this coming week. The sun’s come out to welcome us back to campus, and we’ve come up with some sunny day activities to keep your spirits up this week.
- Get out of the libraries and soak some sun while you study outside at FSM, next to Terrace Cafe or on a mat spread out next to the Campanile.
- Throw water balloons on an unsuspecting couple and justify the decision by saying it was getting too hot (pun intended).
- Walk everywhere you wanted to walk to back when it was raining to fulfill all that lost desire.
- Act as a tour group participant and ask your guide the most obnoxious questions.
- Be basic on the glade, be crazy on the glade, be you on the glade. Play Quidditch, dance or goof around.
- Try out the craziest C.R.E.A.M. combinations that you’ve been missing out on.
- Go on a first date that lasts as long as a walk trailing Strawberry Creek. Make the date your own and add several detours if you want to get to know your partner better.
- Rush down to the Berkeley Marina to catch the sunset.
- Wear shorts with no fear of any random weather mood swings.
- Motivate yourself to finally get around to that outdoor jog you’ve been procrastinating on.
- Sip on some margaritas while hyping up for March Madness.
- Play paint Twister outside.
- Use the weather as an excuse to use all the free sunglasses the career fairs have given you.
- Have an indoor barbeque.
- Explore the Fire Trails Berkeley has to offer.
- Take a day trip to the Cesar Chavez Park to fly some kites for a change.
- Have a spring/summer photo shoot across campus.
- Grab some friends and mark your territory with colored chalk graffiti.
- Have some fun in the water and take a dip into the RSF pool.
- Explore the beautiful campus UC Berkeley has to offer.
