On April 3, two men stole an iPad from an Apple Store on Fourth Street in northwest Berkeley, according to a Berkeley Police Department crime alert.

The men can be seen in a video of the store taken from a nearby surveillance camera. The suspects are described as two black males in their mid-20s to early 30s, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet, according to BPD spokesperson Sgt. Andrew Frankel. They are also described as being of medium build. Both were wearing blue jeans and jackets, and one man had a blue hat.

BPD hopes that the quality of the video will aid in identifying the suspects with the help of community members.

According to the crime alert, this incident is not currently being investigated in connection with several other thefts from Apple Stores in the Bay Area. In December, at least seven individuals robbed the Apple Store in West Berkeley.

Anyone with information concerning the identity of the suspects is encouraged to call BPD at (510) 981-5900.
