Police investigating shooting Tuesday morning at San Pablo Park

Berkeley Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the area of San Pablo Park on Tuesday morning at 11:08 a.m., which left a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a BPD press release.

Officers located the victim — a man possibly in his 20s — outside the park’s bathroom adjacent to the basketball courts. The man was taken to a local hospital to receive medical attention.

Witnesses described the suspect as a light-skinned male, in his 20s, approximately 6-feet tall, wearing a cream-colored shirt and baggy jeans.
