Car full, laden with cameras, we spiral up Mount Tamalpais, eating fist-fills of kettle corn to distract from the precarious road. As the wheels narrowly bend with the mountain, we search for remnants of the golden hour, hoping to meet the peak at sunset. We arrive to layers of orange, pink and blue melting on the horizon. As sunset fades, dusk soon follows. In fresh darkness, we slowly wind down the mountain, captured light in tow.
