There’s more to the UC Berkeley experience than just classes, clubs and game days. As you swing into your first year at UC Berkeley, make time to explore all that Berkeley has to offer outside of campus — whether it’s a sunrise at the Big C or a sunset from Treasure Island, there is always something new worth finding in the beautiful Bay Area. You can head south for a picnic on Lake Merritt, travel west to stroll along the Berkeley Marina, meander north to smell the roses in the Berkeley Rose Garden, or scale Grizzly Peak for a view of it all.
