Here at Eating Berkeley, we’re all about saving money while getting the best quality and quantity possible, which is why we’ve decided to share some of our favorite spots with our readers.

The lunch special is served 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Tuesdays. For about $9-$10, you get your choice of protein, white, brown or fried rice, hot and sour soup, spring roll, house salad, fruit dessert and a fortune cookie. Talk about a good deal!
