Update 10/17/16: This story has been updated to reflect a second UCPD crime alert regarding a separate sexual assault.

Two female campus students were sexually assaulted this past weekend at fraternities in Berkeley, according to two separate UCPD crime alerts released Monday evening.

The first UCPD alert said one victim woke up Saturday morning and reported unwanted sexual conduct to the Berkeley Police Department after attending a fraternity the night before for a social event. The second alert stated that another victim reported a sexual assault by an acquaintance that occurred Saturday morning while she was also attending a social event at the fraternity.

UCPD is asking those who have any information about the incident to contact Berkeley Police Department at 510-981-5900.

Check back for updates.
