Berkeley Police Department asks public for help locating runaway

Berkeley Police Department asked the community for its help to locate a runaway juvenile, according to a BPD Nixle alert released Thursday afternoon.

The alert identified the runaway as Berkeley resident Luciana Castle, 17. She was last seen Feb. 16 and last spoke with her family members over the phone Feb. 18.

According to the alert, Castle is known to frequent Richmond and Oakland.

The alert described Castle as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is also described as being 5-foot-6-inches tall and weighing 125 pounds.

Anyone with information about Castle’s whereabouts is asked to call the Berkeley Police Department Youth Services Detail at 510-981-5715.
