Berkeley Police Department officers are currently investigating a shooting reported on the 1300 block of Burnett St. late Monday afternoon.
The Daily Californian heard on a police scanner that BPD officers had responded to a reported shooting in the vicinity of 2905 Acton St. about 4:40 p.m.
BPD Sgt. Todd Sabins, who noted that the investigation was still ongoing, said two groups on the 1300 block of Burnett Street “had some type of altercation” resulting in two residences being struck with bullets.
Sabins said by the time police arrived on the scene, the area was clear. There were also no reported injuries.
