The new school year always marks transitions, whether you’re a baby freshman Bear, a junior transfer student or finally a senior. Those of you new to UC Berkeley are probably filled with excitement, anticipation and anxious nerves.

As the first week of a new year draws to a close, we at the Daily Cal took the time to reflect on what our journey thus far has meant for us.
