Berkeley police searching for at-risk missing 29-year-old

Berkeley Police Department is seeking the community’s help in locating 29-year-old at-risk missing person Troy Foote.

Foote was last seen Friday about 3 p.m. at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, according to a Nixle alert released Friday night. Foote is a Black male, 6 feet 3 inches in height and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

BPD has classified Foote as a missing at-risk person because he may be suicidal, the alert said. According to the alert, Foote walked away from the hospital against medical advice.

Foote has housing in the Berkeley area and family in Antioch, the alert said.

BPD is asking anyone with information that could assist in locating Foote to call 911.
