Man robs Downtown Berkeley bank with note

At 1:44 p.m. Thursday, a man walked into USE Credit Union on Shattuck Avenue, handed the teller a note and walked out with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The contents of the note have not been revealed and nobody was hurt during the robbery, according to Berkeley Police Department spokesperson Office Byron White.

The suspect is a male with dark skin in his 40s and was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and jeans, White said. The investigation is ongoing, and the suspect remains at large.
