Former Cal men’s basketball forward Marcus Lee has signed with the Miami Heat. Per the Heat’s club policy, the terms of the deal have not been disclosed at this time.

Lee spent one season at Cal, where he transferred after spending his first three years at the collegiate level with Kentucky under head coach John Calipari. In 32 games as a Bear, Lee, who hails from the Bay Area, averaged 11.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.

After going undrafted in June’s annual draft, Lee played with the Cleveland Cavaliers during the NBA Summer League. Over seven contests in Las Vegas, Lee put up 6.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game on 70 percent shooting in 15.9 minutes per game.

Should Lee suit up for Miami, he’ll join Ryan Anderson, Allen Crabbe, Tyrone Wallace, Jaylen Brown, Ivan Rabb and Jabari Bird as Cal alumni in the NBA.
