Berkeley police search for reported peeper

Berkeley Police Department asked the public for help identifying a suspect in a peeping incident in a Nixle alert issued Thursday afternoon.

The suspect walked onto the front porch of a residence on the 1300 block of University Avenue and peered into a window about 5 a.m. Oct. 3, according to the alert. BPD attached two YouTube videos of the incident in its Nixle alert, which show the suspect kneeling down to peer into the residence’s window.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact BPD’s Special Victims Unit at 510-981-5715.
