A federal judge ruled Monday that Cole White, a former Top Dog employee, will remain detained until his trial, as first reported by SFGate.

White was arrested in October on suspicion of violent participation in the “Unite the Right” rally held in Charlottesville in August 2017. Judge Kandis Westmore, from Oakland, presided over White’s hearing while White’s attorney David Cohen argued on his behalf, according to SFGate.

The article also stated that Westmore considered White as a flight risk and thus denied his release.

“This is a family crisis,” Jacqueline Aldana, White’s mother, told SFGate.
