Twenty-one-year-old UC Berkeley student Sei Won Lim, who also went by David, died after a motorcycle accident occurred on campus Wednesday evening.

UCPD officers responded to a report of a solo motorcycle collision on South Drive and Carillon Road, near the Campanile, about 6:47 p.m., according to UCPD spokesperson Sgt. Sabrina Reich. Lim was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries about 8:41 p.m.

The collision is under investigation, Reich said. She encouraged anyone with information about the incident to contact UCPD.
