Updated 10/27/18: This article has been updated to include information from a Nixle alert released by the Berkeley Police Department.

BPD released a Nixle alert at 11:04 p.m Saturday announcing that Jesus Jose Loera has been found.

According to the alert, Loera went missing near St. Joseph the Worker Church at 1640 Addison St.

Loera — a 38-year-old male — had last been seen about 7 p.m. wearing a black Raiders baseball cap. Loera was described to have a bald head, a mustache and a “skinny build,” the initial alert said.

Loera walks with a limp and has a feeding tube, the alert stated. The initial alert said Loera was “at risk due to a head injury” and urged community members to call BPD at 510-981-5900 if they had seen him.
