A UC student was a victim of strong arm robbery near Clark Kerr Campus Building 2 in Berkeley on Saturday about 12:53 a.m., according to a Nixle alert UCPD sent at 8:18 a.m. Saturday.

Two female suspects approached the victim as she was approaching the west doors of Building 2, according to the alert. One of the suspects hit the victim on the head with an unknown blunt object, then took her cellphone from her rear pants pocket.

The two suspects got into a white Toyota Sienna minivan and drove out of the Clark Kerr Campus horseshoe, traveled westbound on Parker Street, then southbound on Piedmont Avenue, according to the alert.
