Cal men’s basketball starting point guard out against UCLA with ankle injury

Cal men’s basketball’s starting point guard Paris Austin has been ruled out against UCLA after sustaining an ankle sprain in Friday’s practice.

In 13 games this season, Austin is averaging a team-high 14.1 points, as well as 5.2 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals.

Against USC, Austin posted 13 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds in 37 minutes.
