Two suspects were arrested and charged in connection with multiple armed robberies in Berkeley, as first reported by Berkeleyside.

Twenty-five-year-old Patrick Lamon William and 28-year-old Kimisha Leandra Walton allegedly robbed a man on Shasta Road near Sterling Avenue after he met with the suspects outside his home Dec. 13 at 3:20 a.m., according to Berkeley Police Department spokesperson Officer Byron White. Subsequent investigation by BPD led to investigative arrest warrants for William and Walton.

“This robbery was not a random street robbery,” White said in an email. “The victim is formerly acquainted with the female suspect and he appears to have been targeted.”

William was charged with a total of four felonies after police tied him to three armed robberies, and Walton was charged with armed robbery, attempted robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, according to Berkeleyside.

William and Walton are currently being held at Santa Rita Jail and await their hearings, which have been set for Thursday, according to Alameda County public records.
