Three students were robbed at gunpoint at Bowles Hall on Sunday night, according to a Nixle alert released Monday afternoon.

At approximately 9:36 p.m., the three students were approached by an armed male suspect at the Bowles property basketball court, next to Stadium Rim Drive, according to the alert. The man took a laptop, two cell phones and money from the students, then fled in a vehicle that was parked on Stadium Rim Way. The students were not physically harmed during the robbery.

The alert also reminded the community of several safety resources including making use of campus’ Night Safety Service, keeping electronic devices out of public view and using a Blue Light emergency phone for help on campus.
