This recipe scones! Easy and healthy vegan cinnamon apple scone recipe

Scones are one of my go-to pastries. They come in a variety of different flavors: one for every mood. If you love apple pie, then you will surely love these cinnamon apple scones. They’re naturally sweetened with honey and filled with bits of apple. Did we mention they’re vegan? It only takes a total of 30 minutes to make, so you can definitely make them in the morning and start your day off with some fresh and warm cinnamon apple scones to accompany your cup of coffee!

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup coconut oil (solid)

4 tablespoons honey  

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

2 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

1 apple — chopped into small cubes

¼ cup milk of your choice

Instructions:

Heat the oven to 425 F.

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, coconut oil, honey, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt and milk. Add the chopped apples to the mixture and stir until well-combined. Knead the dough together into about a one-inch thick circle. Using a knife, cut about 10 wedges (triangles).  Place the wedges on a baking pan about ½ inch apart and bake them for about 15 to 18 minutes.

Allow them to cool for about five to 10 minutes before devouring! Enjoy!
