It’s edible! A wholesome fudge brownie recipe for 4/20

Brownies are one of the greatest chocolate treats. They’re sweet, soft, fudgy and extremely easy to make! On 4/20, you might even wish to add a little special ingredient to make the brownies the highlight of your day. But today, we’re keeping it wholesome. Try out these wholesome, delicious fudge brownie “edibles”! Although they don’t contain the special touch, they will still surely be the highlight of your day.


1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/3 cup of your favorite chocolate ships


Heat oven to 350 F and grease a 8 x 8 inch pan.

In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add the melted butter to a large bowl with the sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.

After it’s well combined, mix in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking powder and chocolate chips.

Spread the batter into the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Allow the brownies to cool for about 10 minutes before devouring!
