Cal men’s basketball has continued to accumulate talent this offseason, earning a commitment from Greek guard Dimitrios Klonaras.

“Excited to be part of the University of California Berkeley. Looking forward to learning from @coachmarkfox and being part of a new era of @calMBBall. Cal is my family now. #GoBears,” Klonaras wrote in a Twitter post.

Klonaras is the second international player Cal has signed this summer, joining forward Kuany Kuany, who formerly lived in South Sudan and Australia, as well as Florida. He joins an incoming class featuring Kuany, D.J. Thorpe and Joel Brown.

The guard brings a unique level of experience to the table having played for PAOK, a professional Greek sports club.

In addition to Cal, Klonaras also fielded offers from Hawaii and Loyola Marymount, according to Verbal Commits.
