On June 29 and 30, one of the largest and most exciting celebrations of the year took place on San Francisco’s Market Street. The annual Pride Parade stretched from Embarcadero to Civic Center with spectators of all ages. Some people offered free hugs, while others — dressed from head to toe in flamboyant garments — handed out Pride stickers, filling the air with a sense of unity and compassion.
