Cal baseball second baseman Darren Baker has been named a reserve for the West Division All-Stars of the Cape Cod Baseball League, the league announced Saturday.

In 27 games for the Wareham Gatemen, Baker is slashing .333/.379/.370 (batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage) with 10 stolen bases. Baker has reached base safely in his past 13 games, hitting .373 in that span.

As a sophomore, Baker recorded career highs in batting average (.306), on-base percentage (.367), slugging percentage (.335) and hits (61), and he earned a spot on the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team. Baker’s 21 stolen bases, another career high, were second in the Pac-12.
