UCPD officers arrested an unaffiliated male on suspicion of “disorderly conduct” in a public restroom Friday evening, according to UCPD Sgt. Brian Sato.
About 5:25 p.m., UCPD received a call from a male UC Berkeley student who reported the suspect for allegedly committing “lude acts” in a public restroom, Sato said. He added that the student claimed to be a victim of the suspect’s alleged actions and made a citizen’s arrest.
Sato said evidence was found at the scene that corroborated the student’s report, but declined to disclose the evidence.
Officers arrested the suspect near North Gate Hall and transported him to Berkeley City Jail for booking.
