Quiz: Can you survive ‘the big one?’

Ayon Kabir/File

In honor of the recent earthquakes and aftershocks that have hit Berkeley and the rest of the Bay Area, we at the Clog have been thinking about “the big one.” “What is ‘the big one’?” you may ask. It’s the prophesied earthquake that California, especially the Bay Area, is overdue for. The last “big one” that hit California was in San Francisco in 1906 with a magnitude of 7.9, destroying over 28,000 buildings. With that being said, do you have what it takes to survive “the big one”?
