At this point in the semester, the academic grind is in full swing. Sometimes to complete an assignment, you need to take a breather and procrastinate a little. Here are some options for what to do the next time you’re facing creative blockage, and yes, it is based on your lovely zodiac sign.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Try your hand at something creative, like painting.

Ruled by the planet of Venus, Libras tend to be well-balanced and grounded. Try pushing the envelope and get creative with something like painting or sketching. Creating something entirely from your imagination might just be the cure for your rare need for procrastination.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): Watch a dramatic TV show

The water sign of Scorpio tends to be extremely passionate and in touch with their emotional side. Distract yourself from your responsibilities by watching a drama-filled show like “Big Little Lies.” You’ll get your fix of drama and passion in no time.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Take a drive to a nearby city

Ruled by the lucky planet of Jupiter, a Sagittarius is always lusting for travel. Try driving to a new destination to get your fix of discovery without going far enough to actually mess with your schedule. I suggest visiting San Francisco or the Marin Headlands for a more outdoorsy experience.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Consider reorganizing your room

For the Earth sign Capricorn, procrastination is a rare occurrence. But if you need a break or are just too overwhelmed to start that next essay, try reorganizing your room. The inspiration from a new, clean space will leave you ready to get back to the grind sooner than you think.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Give writing poetry a try

The Air sign Aquarius is the rarest sign in the zodiac. Sensitive and eccentric, these signs tend to need an emotional release to get back on track. Try writing your thoughts in the form of poetry to clear your mind and uplift your spirits.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20): Check out a local yoga class

Arguably the most emotional sign of the zodiac, Pisces struggles with balancing reality and fiction. With a constant flow of emotion, try doing something to balance your life, clear your thoughts and help you feel grounded. Head to a yoga class next time you need to procrastinate, and you’ll be back at the books in a flash.

Aries (March 21-April 19): Look into taking a boxing class

The hopeful sign of Aries tends to be outgoing and headstrong. This fire sign likes the feeling of winning and needs that validation to fuel their unwavering confidence. When you’re in a study rut, check out a local boxing class. The exertion of physical energy and feeling of accomplishment will get you back into the grind instantly.

Taurus (April 20-May 20): Go on a hike to get some perspective

Tauruses tend to lean on the stubborn side, so getting caught up in a seemingly unsolvable assignment can be their worst nightmare. They tend to be calmed by nature and soothing environments, fitting perfectly with their Earth sign status. Try going on a hike to get a new perspective and let your creative juices flow. You’ll be rejuvenated and ready to go!

Gemini (May 21-June 20): Listen to a podcast

The twin sign of Gemini tends to have many interests and contradicting personality traits. They need to switch things up to fulfill their mood at the moment. Try checking out a podcast, the wide variety of topics will keep you happily distracted until you’re ready to shift back to the study grind

Cancer (June 21-July 22): Visit a body of water

The water sign Cancer tends to be highly intuitive. Their sensitivity and emotional state can leave them in a spiral of overanalyzing of situations. Try heading to a body of water, like a pool or a beach, to calm your senses and get back on track. You’ll be ready to tackle that essay prompt with a new mind.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22): Grab dinner with a friend

This highly social fire sign, Leo, loves being the center of attention. Being crammed in an isolated library can diminish their ability to thrive. Try taking a break and grabbing dinner with a friend. You’ll fulfill your need for socialization and be ready to head back to that cubicle before you know it!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Give color-coordinating your closet a try

Arguably the most organized and uptight sign of the zodiac, Virgo is always on top of it. The ability for this air sign of to let loose and procrastinate is rare. Give color-coordinating your closet a go! You’ll feel as if you have achieved a whole new level of organization and get to take a break without feeling guilty — now go get those pants in order!

Next time you need to take a break and replenish your creative juices, you know what to do. Happy studying, or better yet, procrastinating!
