    1. Legacy dad — Not only is your child a current UC Berkeley student, but so were you, many years ago. The “Go Bears!” spirit runs deep in your family. You visit whenever you can, especially for events like Homecoming and other reunions.
    2. First-child-off-to-college-worried dad — Although you’re immensely proud of your child’s achievements and abilities, you’re more concerned about their first year in college away from home. You like to check in on them whenever you can, and you might’ve cried a little when you dropped them off for orientation.
    3. A-little-too-proud dad — You’re the dad that talks about his children everywhere they go. Everyone around you knows that your child got a 4.5 GPA in high school and is now attending UC Berkeley. You continue to publicly show how proud you are of your child, even if it embarrasses your family members.
    4. Chill dad — You’re the carefree and loving dad. You’re like a best friend to your child and they can talk to you about anything. They trust that you’ll listen without judging or nagging, so that more often than not, they come to you with concerns and for advice.
