A healthy blueberry-cardamom oatmeal recipe

Even though we are fast approaching winter, this oatmeal bowl is reminiscent of springtime, featuring delicious berries and warm spices. This recipe is sure to make you feel amazing no matter what time of the year it is.

Ingredient:

½ cup rolled oats

1 cup water

½ cup frozen blueberries

1 banana, sliced

2 tablespoons shredded coconut

1 tablespoon almond butter

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon cardamom

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Boil your water and oatmeal together and prepare the oats according to the package instructions. Then, add in your frozen blueberries, vanilla and spices and cook until the blueberries are warmed through (this should take around one minute). Pour your oatmeal into a bowl and top with the banana, coconut and almond butter. Enjoy the comforting flavors of cardamom and juicy blueberries!
