After Cal kicked a game-tying field goal in the second quarter against USC, Bears’ linebacker Evan Tattersall was stretchered off the field after suffering an injury on the ensuing kickoff.

There was a short delay to mobilize him and cart him off the field. The redshirt freshman has two tackles for a loss in nine games so far this season and serves special teams coordinator Charlie Ragle on special teams.

The extent of Tattersall’s injury has not been determined. He has been taken to the hospital and has movement in his extremities.
