PG&E has announced that it no longer anticipates a scheduled Public Safety Power Shutoff, according to an Alameda County Nixle Alert at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday.

“PG&E has announced that Alameda County will not be impacted by Wednesday’s #PSPS event due to changes in the weather forecast,” according to a tweet from Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguín.

As of 1 p.m., however, the National Weather Service still maintains its ‘red flag’ warning for the North Bay Mountains, East Bay Hills and Diablo Range through Thursday evening.
