Your lavender tresses

Frame their brown eyes

Gently, foreheads kissing.

Hazel irises gaze

Through your fake color

At the fake lover.

Breathing together is easy.

Finite, convenient,

Noncommittal.

The wrong time,

The wrong kind.

You caress their coily locks for now.

Take care of this lover,

In the moments they are yours.

Their beauty, their presence…

Incomparable

In comparison

To you and your purple hair.
