Chips with dip are the perfect snack for any occasion, be it when you have friends over or during your study break. We at the Clog have you covered with the three best dip recipes that you can make in less than 10 minutes!

Creamy Avocado Dip/Guacamole

In a bowl, mash two avocados — but not too much, you want to leave some chunky bits too! Throw in some diced tomatoes and onions and fresh cilantro. If you’d like your dip to be creamier, you can add a little bit of Greek yogurt or mayonnaise. Finally, with a dash of lime juice, salt and pepper for seasoning, your avocado dip is ready!

Tangy Red Salsa

To a food processor, add three cups of diced (or canned) tomatoes, some green chiles, some mildly chopped jalapeño, half a cup of diced onions, a clove of garlic, two tablespoons of lime juice, some fresh cilantro, salt and ground cumin. Pulse until it reaches your desired consistency. I like my salsa slightly chunky, but well blended nevertheless. Feel free to add more chiles, salt, lime or cilantro for heat, flavor and freshness.

Sour Cream Dip

Finally, the sour cream dip is probably the easiest, most low-effort dip that’s perfect for both chips and veggies! All you need is some sour cream and a few spices for seasoning, and you’re all set. In a large bowl, combine sour cream, some dried diced onions, garlic powder, paprika, parsley and salt, and voila!

So there you have it! You cannot go wrong with any of these delicious and easy dips that are the perfect accompaniment for just about any type of chips!
