Cal men’s basketball head coach Mark Fox announced on Thursday at a post-game press conference that junior guard Juhwan Harris-Dyson will be out indefinitely for academic reasons.

“Juhwan won’t be back,” Fox said. “He is focused on his school work.”

Harris-Dyson played in 13 games for the Bears this season, averaging 4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

Fox also announced that sophomore forward Jacobi Gordon underwent a medical procedure and his timetable for return has yet to be determined.

“Jacobi may not be back. He had a procedure done and he’s trying his best to be back,” Fox said. “But I’m not hopeful it will be anytime in the next week to 10 days.”

Gordon is averaging 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds per game this season.
