    1. Jojo Rabbit – You’re “Jojo Rabbit”! A brilliantly written dramedy that tells the story of Nazi Germany from the eyes of a 10-year-old boy, who’s imaginary best friend is Hitler, portrayed by director, Taika Waititi. You’re distinguished by your clever dialogue, appealing aesthetics and your original story. Perhaps you’ll be able to do what no satirical film has done in recent years and win Best Picture!
    2. Little Women – You’re “Little Women”! An incredible adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic coming-of-age story, centering on Jo March and her three sisters as they navigate life and coming-of-age as women in post Civil War society. What sets you apart? Your incredibly talented cast (Saoirse Ronan, Timothee Chalamet and Meryl Streep just to name a few), your moving monologues about marriage and your fresh take on a time-honored story.
    3. Parasite – You’re “Parasite”! A breakout film from Korean director Bong Joon-ho, focusing on the twisted relationship between the affluent Park family and Ki-woo, as well as the rest of the Kim family who try to become indispensable to the Parks, and the chaos that ensues. You’ve generated tons of buzz and excitement, even being hailed as one of the best films of the decade and your thought provoking nature and meaningful aesthetics illicit all kinds of responses.
    4. 1917 – You’re “1917”! A stunningly filmed movie about World War I and the seemingly impossible mission that two British soldiers are tasked with. Between rave reviews, a fresh retelling of one of the first global conflicts and incredible cinematography, we’re sure you will succeed where other war films have failed, and win an Academy Award for Best Picture, but only time will tell – xoxo, Gossip Girl.
