The Berkeley Police Department reported missing Berkeley visitor 77-year-old Sophia Brooks as found on Feb. 14.
BPD categorized Brooks as an at-risk, missing person, according to a Nixle Alert released at 5:54 p.m. Feb. 13.
Brooks is visiting North Berkeley and is originally from North Carolina. It is possible that she was driving a white 2011 Chevrolet HHR with a North Carolina license plate that reads TAZ1369, according to the alert.
Brooks was deemed to be at-risk because she has been experiencing some memory loss and could be lost or confused. She is 5 feet, 6 inches tall. Brooks also has brown eyes and gray hair.
The alert asked that anyone who sees Brooks contact BPD at 510-981-5911 or the closest public safety agency.
