Mail delivery driver victim of alleged robbery, aggravated assault on Oxford Street

A robbery and aggravated assault occurred on Oxford Street on Monday at noon, according to an email from UCPD.

The email said the victim was a mail delivery driver. The U.S. Postal Service is investigating.

This is an ongoing investigation and inspectors are working to identify the individuals involved in the case to move forward with federal charges, according to Fitch. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals involved in the case.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is asking if anyone has further information to contact its dispatch number at (877) 876-2455.
