Aggravated assault occurs on Channing Way near Maximino Martinez Commons

At 2:44 a.m. March 6, an aggravated assault occurred on Channing Way east of Telegraph Avenue, according to a UCPD advisory message.

The assault, which involved a knife, took place near the construction fencing at the northwest corner of Maximino Martinez Commons. A suspect was last seen on foot westbound of Channing Way.
