Perfect healthy shamrock smoothie to make this St. Patrick’s Day

As fun as St. Paddy’s Day celebrations can be, it is sometimes hard to stray away from all the unhealthy foods offered while celebrating. This super healthy alternative is a great way to get some green and stay on track healthwise! It’s super quick and easy to make for breakfast or for a midday snack. So head into the kitchen and enjoy this delicious and nutritious smoothie this St. Patrick’s Day. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of spinach 
  • 1 banana
  • 1 kiwi 
  • ¾ cup of Greek yogurt 
  • 2 tablespoons of honey 
  • ½ cup of milk of choice 
  • Ice

Instructions:

Start by adding a handful or two of ice into a blender. Next, add in the fruit, spinach, yogurt and honey. Finally, add in the milk and start blending all the ingredients together. You can add more milk if you’d like a more juice-like texture. Blend until you reach your desired consistency, and you’re good to go!
