University Village resident tests positive for COVID-19

A graduate student residing in University Village tested positive for COVID-19, making UC Berkeley aware of 11 lab-confirmed positive cases.

According to an update released Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., the student is currently isolating and is in stable condition. Members of University Health Services administered the test and are working with the Alameda County Public Health Department to determine who may have been in close contact with the student.
